Wellesbourne Cricket Club

Wellesbourne Cricket Club  is a well established, modern club with a long and proud history dating back to the early 19th century. The 1st XI play in the Cotswold Hills League Premier Division which we won in 2016 & 2017. The 2nd XI are in Cotswold League Division Two. In 2018 our junior section will play in the Cotswold Hills Junior League (u11s & u15s) & the Warwickshire Cricket Board Junior League (u10s & u13s &), also entering u9s softball tournaments throughout the summer. On top of this the club plays friendly games on a Sunday afternoon & regularly hosts games on behalf of Warwickshire Crciket Board. See fixture list for more details.

The club is pro-active with its junior section and does everything it can to bring on young players and establish a love of the game. Monday night training sessions are very popular where qualified coaches are present to pass on instruction and advice with a view to them gaining game time in the junior teams with the ultimate aim of them progressing to the senior teams in future. All Stars Cricket runs on Friday evening with registration available via the All Stars App.

A club without supporters is a soulless place and thankfully Wellesbourne CC is blessed with loyal support. Anyone with a love of the game, or even a passing interest, is always welcome to come along on match days and offer support and sample some the the fine refreshments on offer at the bar, which is always open during a match. Like any good club there is a full and active social calendar, and during the season events are arranged which include race nights, quiz nights, presentation evenings and more. These events are open to all club members, their friends and supporters of the club.
